Procurement & Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary:

Handle all inbound, outbound and cross logistics activities until delivery to destination. 
Handle the procurement of machines, materials, parts and services for local and international teams.

Daily Tasks:

Handle air, sea, land shipments and related documents and formalities for all local and international orders. 
Conduct new supplier selection for new products based on predefined criteria. 
Conduct pricing, purchasing and costing on ERP software.
Ensure supplier documents conform to requested terms, and comply with regulations at destination
Receive and negotiate quotations from 3 freight forwarders for each order, and follow-up till delivery at destination 
Handle insurance, customs, clearance and transportation related to all import or export order
Handle non-conformity reports and complaints to suppliers and follow up until completion
Follow-up pending actions related to each order with the concerned requesters until completion

Responsibilities: 

Conduct supplier performance evaluation for existing suppliers. 
Update all requesters with status of their orders on weekly basis. 
Accurate filing of all activities for traceability.
Ensure that all purchased products and services are in compliance with requirements of internal and external customers. 
Ensure all purchases done guarantee the best price/quality ratio at the best of own knowledge at the time of purchase. 
Develop relationships with local and international suppliers.
Accurate and timely feedback to all requesters on the status of their orders.
Monthly reporting of KPI’s.
Ensure all orders are delivered in compliance with customer and company requirements.
Support international teams during afterhours, weekends and holidays as needed.

Knowledge and skill Requirements: 

University degree or equivalent relevant to position.
Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement and logistics.
Trilingual (Arabic, English, French).
Computer literate (MS Office).
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Team player, motivated and dynamic.
High level of job ownership.
Responsible and accountable for own tasks.
Organized and results-oriented.
Professional, Positive and respectful relations with all company stakeholders.
