Product Manager

Job Summary: 

Responsible for the Sales operation (prospection, presentation, negotiation, deal-closing, follow-up on payment and delivery) in specific products, target sectors and/or customer accounts. 


Reporting channel: Country Sales Manager and International Supplier Area Manager.
Prepare daily reports, monthly reports and forecasts, and customer meeting reports.

Daily Tasks:

  • Prospection: Targeting new prospects which have not previously purchased from Zakka, or regain lost customers, or maximize the potential of existing accounts.
  • Speed: Respond to any request from a prospect, customer, colleague or supplier within 24 hours, to maximize customer satisfaction and maintain a professional company image.
  • Competence: understand the customers’ specific requirements, collect detailed information and prepare RFQ forms and quotations, in coordination with Sales, Technical and Supplier teams.
  • Relationship: Maintaining continuous contact with prospects and customers, being the 360-degree touch-point for nurturing a long-term relation. 

  • Developing and maintaining a high level of technical product knowledge via continuous trainings.
  • Understanding the customer’s need, to identify needs of improvement and maximize the sales potential.
  • Conduct product demos to customers in showroom, at other customers premises, or at international suppliers.
  • Set pricing and negotiate with suppliers and customers to achieve targets. And other duties as assigned or required. 

Knowledge and skills:

  • Degree: Engineering.
  • Experience: 5 to 8 years in sales.
  • Languages: Arabic, English, French.
  • Communication: clear verbal and written skills.
  • Negotiation: understand and nurture people relationships.
  • Reporting: to describe in detail the work done and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Honesty: to communicate candidly with all stakeholders about all topics.
  • Hard work: to complete tasks fully and follow-up until completion.
  • Dedication: to go out of their way to complete tasks within deadline.
  • Approach: Pleasant and respectful, professional and position relations with all stakeholders.
